Did Jesus first see Annas or Caiaphas after his arrest?

Matthew 26:57 (also Mk 14:53, Lk 22:54)

Those who had arrested Jesus took him to Caiaphas, the high priest, where the teachers of the law and the elders had assembled.

John 18:12-13, 24

Then the detachment of soldiers with its commander and the Jewish officials arrested Jesus. They bound him and brought him first to Annas, who was the father-in-law of Caiaphas, the high priest that year.
...
Then Annas sent him, still bound, to Caiaphas the high priest.

It seems pretty clear that the soldiers took Jesus to Annas, who questioned him briefly, and then on to Caiaphas.
